In grasping the path from product recognition to purchase, there are some cases where "recommendation by others", such as spouse or acquaintance, led to the purchase of products or to the introduction of the services.
To gain a better understanding of the actual situation in the case of "others, such as the spouse, make the purchase decision", we focused on households that had actually purchased a detached home based on the spouse's wishes and interviewed the episodes leading up to the purchase from the spouse's perspective.
