We have a track record of recruiting participants for qualitative research such as focus groups and Central Location Test(CLT) in rural area like Sapporo, Sendai, Utsunomiya, Nagoya, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka, so we can quite accommodate your request.
However, unlike surveys such as web surveys, home-use tests, or mail surveys where respondents can answer questionnaires from home, focus groups and venue surveys require participants to physically travel to designated locations. Recruiting participants in regional cities with limited transportation options can be quite challenging.
Moreover, compared to the urban areas, qualitative research is less frequently conducted in rural areas. Consequently, awareness and willingness to participate in focus groups are not as high, leading to a lower number of monitors.
For these reasons, when recruiting for qualitative research in rural areas, we would like to start with a sufficient lead time and discuss setting conditions according to the situation.
