Research on “snacking during work” for male office workers on their 40s

During work, "breaks" can take many forms, such as enjoying a delicious lunch, taking a nap, smoking, or chatting with colleagues.
One common way many people relax is by having a simple snack.
With the current shift to hybrid work models, including remote work and office commuting, the occasions for "snacking during work" and their emotional and functional effects may have become more diverse.

This time, we conducted an interview with male employees in their 40s working in both office and remote environments, focusing on their "snacking during work."

We conducted an in-depth interview to gather insights on the differences in snack choices and frequency between office and remote work, as well as the varying expectations for "snacking" in each environment.

We hope this provides valuable insights for companies in the confectionery and food industries, offering potential opportunities for new marketing strategies and product development.
