Sharing and informing the questions and doubts of daily life through our original mini-research style “SMART RESEARCH”
This time, we will deliver the results of the survey we conducted on December 2023 with the ASMARQ monitors about the year end and new year holidays.
In this article, we will introduce the results of a survey for office workers we did at the end of the year, about the year end and new year holidays and how they spend their holidays.
First, we did a research on the number of holidays on Year End and New Year in 2023-2024 among office workers, men and women on their 20-50.
The most common answer for the number of holidays was “6-7 days,” and in total, about 60% of them have the year end and new year holidays for 4-7 days.
Also, while many of them still think about the year end and New Year holidays positively, some of them answered “neutral.”
During the holidays, many people spend time in an environment that is different from their daily lives, such as going their parents’ home or meeting relatives, which may explain the diversity of views seen.
Furthermore, we surveyed how people plan to spend the year end and New Year’s holidays in 2023-2024 for men and women aged 20-50.
Although this question allowed multiple answers, the largest number that is around 80% people, selected “spending time at my home.” Then, about 30% of the people chosed “visiting shrine” and “visiting my parents’ home/hometown.” We can see an increase in the number of people going out during the year end and New Year’s holidays due to the coronavirus pandemic has been settled.
About the changes in consumer behavior during annual events such as the year end and New Year holidays, we will continue to actively conduct surveys in the future.
